Remedial massage therapy is the assessment and treatment of soft tissue structures of the body (muscles, ligaments, tendons and connective tissue) to assist in rehabilitation, pain and injury management. Remedial massage therapists have the ability to address, restore and provide balance to normal soft tissue length, tension and tone to promote repositioning of normal joint, capsular and bone position.

Remedial Massage therapy is designed to increase the flow of blood and lymph within injured or disease effected areas removing damaged cells, blockage, scar tissue and adhesions that result from injury or illness.

A remedial therapist has an understanding of anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology to determine the appropriate service and specific action to provide a unique treatment for each client.
