PAUL Platis - Physiotherapist

As a registered physiotherapist and strength coach, I have a strong interest in helping people of all ages and abilities to get back to the activities that are important to them. I aim to support people throughout their recovery journey by helping them to understand their condition better, provide hands-on therapy to reduce pain, and prescribe restorative exercises to improve function. I am committed to using the most current and best research to guide my treatment plans to ensure patients achieve positive treatment outcomes and results.
Since graduating from the Univerity of Sydney in 2015, I have gained knowledge and experience in treating various types of acute pain, chronic pain, sports injuries, and degenerative conditions. My key areas of interest include lower back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, lifting injuries and running injuries.
As well as being a physiotherapist, I am also a registered strength and conditioning coach, powerlifting coach and personal trainer. I developed a strong interest in the benefits of strength training after it helped me to recover from a lower back injury that plagued me for over 10 years.
Outside of the clinic I enjoy listening to a good audiobook or podcast, refining my skills in cooking, attempting to beat my best deadlift and spending time at the beach.
